Tibetan Singing Bowl - This singing bowl set produces a slightly deeper note than smaller sizes. As with all our boxed singing bowl set comes complete with stick and cushion.

The tradition of singing bowls dates back to the time of the Buddha (560-480 BC) brought from India to Tibet along with the teachings of the Buddha. Singing bowls produce sounds that invoke a deep state of relaxation & assists in meditation.

Playing tips; hold the bowl on the palm of your hand & gently tap the side of the bowl. also with a firm even pressure rub the striker around the rim of the bowl in a clockwise direction - the friction produces vibrations which result in sound that gradually builds.
