Many of our suppliers are registered "Fair Trade" or waiting to be registered. Others we check the origins of their products to make sure they are ethically produced.

Often we are able to see photographs of the factories etc. which are inspected regularly to ensure good working conditions & a fair wage. Some of our suppliers directly support charities & cooperatives set up for the benefit of the workers & their families & communities.

About Us

Paprika is a small business based in Wellington, Somerset in the South West of England established in 2003. We have two shops in Wellington, Somerset; Ethical & Fair Trade Gift Shop Paprika, selling Silver & gemstone jewellery, fashion jewellery & accessories, home accessories, ornaments, candles and gifts and Children's Toy & Gift shop selling ethical & fair trade toys, gifts & novelties for babies & children.

Our online business paprikashop.co.uk was set up in 2007 selling a selection of products from both shops. Wellington is a small town close to Somerset County town Taunton.

Paprika was recently chosen as a finalist in the prestigious Progressive Gifts & Home Magazine "The Greats Awards" 2009 Independant Gift Retailer of the Year - South West & Wales Division.

Our policy at Paprika is to sell beautiful, stylish & high quality products that we genuinely love & enthuse about ourselves. Much of our stock is from registered "Fair Trade" suppliers otherwise we always do our best to check the origins of the manufacture including materials used & working conditions. Many of our products are made from recycled materials & materials from maintained sources. We do our best to use recycled packaging. We pride ourselves on our customer service and always do our best to offer help to customers in our shops or online with product information, ordering and aftersales help. We are always available either online or on the phone Mon-Sat 9-5.30pm.
